'Eyes of Wakanda' Earns Impressive Rotten Tomatoes Score
It's been four years since writer and director Ryan Coogler's production company, Proximity Media, closed a television deal with Disney. The intention was always to expand the world of Wakanda after Coogler redefined what comic book movies could be with his 2018 blockbuster Black Panther, which broke box office records, received numerous award nominations, and became a cultural phenomenon. While it's taken some time to get there, the first series centered around the fictional nation is finally here: Eyes of Wakanda. The animated anthology series debuted on Disney+ at the beginning of August, and initial reviews already indicate that it maintains the same impressive quality as the Black Panther films.
