First Teaser Photo for New ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Sequel Animated Series Has Been Revealed

Say hello to Pavi, the new Avatar. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender,the original voice actor cast — Janet Varney (Korra), Mae Whitman (Katara), Zach Tyler Eisen (Aang), Jack De Sena (Sokka), Michaela Jill Murphy (Toph), Jennie Kwan (Suki), Dante Basco (Zuko), Dee Bradley Baker (Appa) — reunited on a panel during the 2025 San Diego Comic Con on Thursday, July 24. The first image for the upcoming sequel series, Avatar: Seven Havens, which takes place after Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, was unveiled by Nickelodeon during the panel discussion. The teaser photo shows the new Earthbender, Pavi, accompanied by her mentor, Jae, and a cute furry companion. The world around them almost looks dystopian, which makes fans wonder what has happened in the years following the events of The Legend Korrea.
