Taylor Sheridan's 'Tulsa King' Spin-Off Starring Samuel L. Jackson Loses Showrunner

Taylor Sheridan's work can be seen everywhere, from being the co-creator of the hit neo-Western drama series Yellowstone to the crime drama Tulsa King on Paramount+. Now, the writer is preparing for Tulsa King's spin-off, NOLA King, starring one of the greatest actors of all time, Samuel L. Jackson. While the upcoming series is highly anticipated, production hit a major snag recently that puts a temporary dent in its timeline. According to Variety, Dave Erickson, who co-created Fear the Walking Dead, signed on as the spin-off's showrunner but had to depart due to a scheduling conflict. The series hasn't been greenlit by Paramount+ yet, but the search for another showrunner is active as the series is a high priority.
