All hope may not be lost for Todd Haynes' gay romance film, which was thrown for a loop when actor Joaquin Phoenix abruptly left the project and caused the entire production to shut down. While Phoenix may be out, it appears that the film may get a major assist from Pedro Pascal, who is now circling the project and could be its saving grace to get back on track.
