'Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot & 'Supergirl' Star to Lead WWII Thriller 'Ruin'
Turn back the calendar to December 2017. Matthew "Kaz" Firpo and Ryan Firpo's script Ruin was awarded the No. 1 spot on The Black List, which is Hollywood’s annual tribute to the year’s collection of top screenplays which have not yet been produced. At that time, over seven years ago, the DCEU’s Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, was already in talks to star in the historical drama. Today, it’s been confirmed that Gadot will indeed team up with Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’s Matthias Schoenaerts in the story written by Kaz and Ryan Firpo, both of whom penned the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s lackluster Eternals (2021).
