Denzel Washington & Spike Lee Reunite in 'Highest 2 Lowest' A24 Trailer
Almost 20 years later, Spike Lee and Denzel Washington are back together for another crime thriller of epic proportions. Washington has been a major player in four of Lee's most popular films, including Mo' Better Blues and the famous Malcolm X, where the actor brings the civil rights activist to life for modern audiences. Yet, their upcoming team-up is more aligned with their previous, and highly regarded, heist film Inside Man. Back in February 2024, Lee's next lofty project was announced. Since then, audiences have been relatively kept in the dark about the mysterious remake of one of the best crime films in history: Akira Kurosawa's High and Low. Now, A24 has finally given fans a trailer that sets up Highest 2 Lowest, Lee's take on the classic, perfectly.
