Netflix's 'Happy Gilmore 2' Only Works Thanks To Bad Bunny
Caddies are an essential part of both golf and Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore movies. In the 1996 original movie, Sandler’s main character was shadowed by actor Allen Covert’s Otto, a quirky homeless man who is just happy to be there. There are many returning characters in the recently released sequel on Netflix, but Covert is sadly not one of them. From within the movie’s story, Otto is said to have moved to Switzerland for tax purposes. Whatever the actual reason was regarding the actor’s absence, the decision left room for a new character to fill the caddie part. Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny steps into the role and arguably becomes the best part of Happy Gilmore 2.
