'Thunderbolts*' Scrapped Plans for Man-Thing, Red Hulk & More MCU Characters
Thunderbolts*has been a breath of fresh air for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, earning some of the strongest reviews and critical reaction for a film since Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 back in 2023. Audiences have fully embraced this new team, now dubbed The New Avengers. Still, like many films in the MCU, Thunderbolts* went through various drafts that tried a bunch of different ideas. Some of these ideas included a returning character from across the MCU, including Ant-Man and the Wasp,Werewolf by Night, and Captain America: Brave New World's big marketing hook.
